Generali Motor Vehicle Insurance meets the particular needs of each insured, offering premiums appropriate for his or her needs. Thus, the value of the premium is always tailored to the means of each client.

This insurance is specially designed to meet the needs of the owners of vehicles of Brazilian and foreign manufacture, ranging from ordinary saloon cars, pick-up trucks and SUV's to sports cars. Basic cover for collision, fire and theft is offered.

Upon contracting Generali Motor Vehicle Profile, the insured receives cover on a Market Value Reference basis.

If the vehicle is not included in the FIPE (Institute of Economic Research) table/scale, cover can be contracted on a Determined Value basis.

Generali offers DNA Security , an optional service that is provided free of charge in order to protect the insured's vehicle. This anti-theft equipment is available exclusively for cities in the states of Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and is only for certain types of vehicle as determined by the calculation kit.

DNA Security consists of an intelligent system that records vehicle parts, thus making it economically unviable to sell a stolen vehicle either in assembled form or broken down into parts. The system stamps the chassis number in visible bas-relief on various component parts of the vehicle. The number is stamped on an average of 16 parts.

Additional Cover

For an additional premium, optional guarantees can be contracted to complement the protection offered by Basic Cover , in accordance with the needs of each insured. See below:

•  extension of the limit of cover for South American countries;
•  personal injuries suffered by passengers;
•  medical, hospital and funeral expenses;
•  accessories, vehicle bodyb and equipment, with or without
....facultative franchise;

•  windscreen, rear and side windows.
